"Protección de menores migrantes de todas las formas de violencia”: Seminarios Web CEPOL

El ministerio de Protección Ciudadana/Policía Helénica 
y la Agencia de la Unión Europea para la Formación en Aplicación de la Ley (CEPOL - Unidad Helénica) 
organizan una serie de webinars  titulada 
"Protección de menores migrantes de todas las formas de violencia”. 

Esta serie de webinars se lleva a cabo 
los días 28, 29 y 30 
de septiembre de 2020.


Debe tenerse en cuenta que las sesiones están estrictamente interconectadas; por lo tanto la asistencia al seminario web anterior es muy recomendable y necesaria para comprender completamente las sesiones siguientes. Todo el taller, sus grabaciones y los cuestionarios relevantes estarán disponibles en el Sistema de Gestión de Aprendizaje de CEPOL, LEEd, donde también podéis obtener el certificado al finalizar la formación.
 
METAS Y OBJETIVOS GENERALES
 
El propósito del taller es mejorar el conocimiento a través del intercambio de mejores prácticas sobre la protección de menores migrantes, a través de una perspectiva de derechos humanos/derechos del niño.
 
Una vez finalizada la actividad, los participantes podrán:
a) reconocer las vulnerabilidades de los menores migrantes;
b) identificar formas de violencia y riesgos de seguridad contra los menores migrantes; y
c) comprender y aplicar críticamente las mejores prácticas en materia de protección de menores migrantes, en el marco de la cooperación multiagencia.
 
Los resultados de la actividad en línea constituirán la base para el desarrollo de un manual completo (más una guía de bolsillo) para profesionales de primera línea en el campo, compartido con todos los participantes de los seminarios web del taller.

Since the migration-refugee crisis in 2015, Greece is at the frontline of receive migrants and asylum seekers to Europe through the Eastern Mediterranean routes. Experienced Officials from the Ministry of Citizen Protection (Hellenic Police), Migration and Asylum, and the National Rapporteur on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings present cases of migrant minors exposed to risks and explore vulnerabilities covering extensively contextual and structural factors. . OBJECTIVE The second session builds upon the content and the remarks of the first one and attempts to identify forms of violence and security risks against migrant minors. It is crucial for first-line practitioners to recognize and understand the many and multidimensional risks that migrant minors are under. Experts from the Hellenic Police, Europol and Frontex will discuss case studies and views on organized crime (illegal migration, human trafficking), child abuse – sexual exploitation, domestic violence, radicalization and violent extremism, hate speech and discrimination, ethnic violence, exposure and victimization, etc. TARGET GROUP First-line practitioners – responders from all CoE Member States: mostly addressed to Law Enforcement and Judicial Officials, as well as Migration and Asylum Officers. - Objetivo de aprendizaje: Comprender y aplicar críticamente las mejores prácticas sobre protección de menores migrantes, en el marco de la cooperación multiagencia.

OBJECTIVE The last session of the workshop summarizes the previous discussions and focuses on best practices on migrant minor protection. Given the non-exhaustive list of threats and risks for migrant minors, there is a realistic need for multiagency cooperation both domestically (inter-agency), and internationally. A Greek Judicial Official and experts from Council’s of Europe (GRETA) and OSCE will exchange views to underline the significance of multiagency cooperation, the role of international actors, reflecting at the same time to Human Rights and more specifically Rights of Child.
